He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Patton (Lewis) of New Athens, IL; his children, Adrianne Patton of New Athens, IL and Michael Smith (Jennifer) of Dallas, GA; his stepchildren, Dennis Ventress (Belinda) of New Athens, Bob Smith (Donna) of Licking, MO, Ray Smith of Springfield, IL, Darla Kogel of Chester, IL, Dawn Jordan (Bill) of Baldwin, IL, Chris Garret of Worden, IL and Brandy Ventress of Baldwin, IL; and his siblings, Rory Patton of New Athens, IL, Roger Patton (Susie) of Marissa, IL, Karen Lewis (David) of New Athens, IL and Kathy Matzenbacher (Larry) of Marissa, IL. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
