It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond L. Metcalf of New Athens, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Metcalf and Mary Metcalf (Baker); and his wife Geneva Metcalf (Brunk). He is survived by: his son Alvin Metcalf (Nancy) of New Athens, IL; his grandchildren, Amy Abert (Keith) and Jamie Croak (Ed); and his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Stella Abert and Ryan Croak.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in New Athens, IL.
