She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Doiron and Mary Anna Doiron (Louvier); her husband George J. Wahlig, Sr.; her son Michael Wahlig; and her brothers, Greg Doiron (Albertha) and Earl Doiron (Josephine).
She is survived by: her close friend Charlotte; her nieces, Doris, Carol and Tamara; her children, Phillip Wahlig (Nancy) of New Athens, IL, Jeffery Wahlig (Shoye) of New Athens, IL, James Wahlig (Lisa) of New Athens, IL, George John Wahlig, Jr. (Dawn) of Waterloo, IL and Susan Ditch (Jerry) of New Athens, IL; her grandchildren, Michelle Dollar, Chris Wahlig (Mary Beth), Laura Lintker (Ron), Lacey Bordewick (Andy), Julie Nuernberger (Jeremy), Jill Mulholland (Jeremy), Joshua Wahlig (Katie), Jenilyn Marsh (Tyler), Jaycie, Joelli Wahlig, Katie Waeltz (Brandon), Sam Wahlig, Sarah Lanham (Bob), Kelly Georg (Chris), Joe, Sean Ditch, Krystin Shaffer (Aaron), Kacey Wahlig (Bo), Ashley Beeler (Mike), Amanda Konarcik (Wil), George John "Tre' and Wahlig, III; her great grandchildren, Lynelle Loveless, Marlee, Nicholas, Jack Wahlig, Taylor (Garrett), Noah, Isaiah Lintker, Penny, Molly, Jude Bordewick, Jonathon, Jacob Nuernberger, William, Wyatt, Grace, Walker Mulholland, Graham Wahlig, Olive, Hazel Marsh, Aubrey, Reid, Cora Waeltz, Joshua, Lauren, Chase Lanham, Bradley, Maci Georg, Hudson Shaffer, Morgan, Alyssa, Landon Beeler and Ryan Konarcik; and her close friend Blaze. She is also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Due to the Covid restrictions in place, a private visitation and funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Agatha Catholic Church in the form of Masses or to Family Hospice.
