We bid farewell to Evelyn Mueller of New Athens, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Evelyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Alvin (Harriet); her brother David Kayson (Janice); and her parents-in-law, Edgar and Josephine Mueller. She is survived by: her husband Thomas L. Mueller; her sons, Brian Mueller (Leigh) and Bruce Mueller (Tina); her grandchildren, Megan Gilbert (Sam), Emma Mueller, Kendyl Mueller and Jenna Mueller; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Alec and Alexa Gilbert; her brother-in-law Richard Mueller; and her nieces and nephews, Kyle Kayson and Robin Jay.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (7 N Belleville St, Freeburg, IL 62243).
Memorials may be made to the Freeburg Food and Clothing Bank or to Siteman Cancer Center.
