It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene F. Hubatchek (New Athens, Illinois), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Swafford and Catherine Bergen Swafford; her husband Henry F. Hubatchek; and her sisters, Cathy Poston and Marlene Koehler.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Hubatchek (Linda), Nicholas Hubatchek (Mona) and Laura Reuss (Hubatchek); her grandchildren, Sarah Miller, Joshua Hubatchek (Victoria Eldridge), Ben Hubatchek (Dani), Julie Cowell (Todd), Kirsten Reuss (Jordan Laumbattus), Cameron Reuss (Rachel Roscow) and Ethan Hubatchek (Diane); her great grandchildren, Bailey Jones, Kaylee, Jordyn Cowell, Alakaid, Alice and Alexander Maedge; and her siblings, Gerald Swafford and Loretta Nesbit. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Due to restrictions that are in place during the coronavirus outbreak a private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Family Hospice of Belleville, Illinois.
