He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Jo Schatte; and his father-in-law Bill Jones. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie R. Schatte (Jones); his children, Brandon C. of New Athens, IL and Morgan R. Schatte of New Athens, IL; his father Dennis L. Schatte of New Athens, IL; his parents-in-law, Gregg, Becky Blomenkamp of Freeburg, IL and Janet Jones of Smithton, IL; his uncle Dean; his aunt Marilyn Schatte of New Athens, IL; his sister-in-law Keri Diefenbach (Rudy) of Smithton, IL.; and his nieces, Jordyn and Breanna.
Memorials may be made to the family to help establish an education fund for his children.
