She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas C Nuernberger and Martha M Nuernberger (Langenstein); and her siblings, James, Donald, Andrew Nuernberger and Doris Tiedemann.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis L Schatte of New Athens, IL; her son Daniel Jon Schatte (Stephanie) of New Athens, IL; her brother Dean Schatte (Marilyn) of New Athens, IL; and her grandchildren, Brandon and Morgan Schatte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made to St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL.
