It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anona M. Junge of New Athens, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben and Henrietta Deichmann, Jr. (Nuernberger); her husband Harry J. Junge; her sister Francis Bonebrake (late Merle); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Eileen Junge.
She is survived by: her sons, James Junge (Julie) of Chattanooga, TN, Gary Junge (Nancy) of New Athens, IL, Steve Junge (Terri) of New Athens, IL and Michael Junge (Pamela) of New Athens, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie Ahern (Ryan) of Glenn Ellyn, IL, Jessica Smith (Bob) of Smithton, IL, Steven Junge, Jr. (Tessa) of O'Fallon, IL, John Junge (Anne) of Belleville, IL, Dr. Travis Junge (Grace) of St. Louis, MO, Justin Junge (Lindsey) of Freeburg, IL, Nicholas Junge of New Athens, IL, Ben Junge (Hailey) of O'Fallon, IL, Taylor Junge of New Athens, IL and Martin White (Kacie) of New Athens, IL.; her great grandchildren, Cole Junge of Regan Ahern, R. J, Logan Smith, Lilli Smith, Chase Junge, Austin Junge, Samuel Junge, Camden Junge, Carter Junge, Kinsley Junge, Hayden Junge, Hartley Anona Junge, Savannah White and Grady White; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Junge.
