He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Yepsen and Florence Yepsen (Nauer); his stepfather Leroy "Babe" Wyld; his son Nathaniel Yepsen; his sister Leta; his siblings-in-law, Jack Burrows and Pat Yepsen; his niece Diane Headley; and his nephew Jeff Burrows.
He is survived by: his children, Ben Yepsen (Danette) of Plainfield, IL and Rachel Morris (John) of Paris, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan Yepsen, Ruby Yepsen and Robert Morris; his great grandchild Luke Yepsen; and his siblings, Maurice Yepsen, Myrtle Robison (Jim), Bradford and Dennis Yepsen (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home (219 E 2nd St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Neponset Historical Society or the Floral Hill Cemetery Association.
