He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett (Stabler); and his siblings, Carol Bennett, Audrey Rakestraw, Shirley Anderson, Wilbur, Ivan and LaVerne.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Bennett (Kida) of Goldsboro, NC, Kelly Dexter (Michael Jr.) of Dunlap, IL and Tracey Davis (Curt) of St. Petersburg, FL; and his sister Mary Hileman (Orval) of Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
