She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rick and Lucille Rick (Bickett); her brother Don Rick; and her in-laws, Claude and Lottie Stabler.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Stabler of Neponset, IL; her daughter Tracie Johnson of Washington, IL; her grandchildren, Maddie and Olivia (LuLu); her son Jason Stabler (Ashley) of Sheffield, IL; her grandchildren, Emma, Abby and Luke; her son Justin Stabler (Bethany) of Neponset, IL; her grandchildren, Oliver, Benny and Lainey; and her sister Cheryl Barnett (Rich) of Tiskilwa, IL..

Memorials may be directed to Illinois Cancer Care or OSF Hospice, reflecting Karen's generous spirit and her commitment to helping others.
