It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Daniel Lane of Neoga, Illinois, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Lillie Bernice Lane (Hatten); his siblings, Jewel Lane and Shawn Lane; and his grandparents, Willis Hetzer and Mae Hetzer.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lane of Neoga, Illinois; his sons, Sean Michael Lane of Charleston and Aaron Todd Lane Lane (Audrienna "Lori") of Neoga, Illinois; his grandchildren, Olivia Grace Lane of Charleston, Illinois and Mikayla Nicole Lane of Charleston, Illinois; and his sisters, Sharen Bullard of Neoga, Wilma Trotter (Jerry) of Dix, Rose Duckworth of Toledo, Karen Robert of Neoga, Josie Kimberlin of Boonveville, Dolly Nease (Tom) of Effingham, June Morse of Toledo and Linda Lane of Neoga, Illinois. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
