It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Edward Hoelscher of Neoga, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Hoelscher and Mildred A. Hoelscher (Hagen); his son Alex Lee Hoelscher; his sister Sharon Hampton; and his father-in-law Jim Mayhall.
He is survived by: his wife Teri Hoelscher of Neoga, Illinois; his daughters, Stephanie Finney (Shawn) of Neoga, Jennifer Mast (Clarence) of Neoga and Erica Ozier (Chris) of Sullivan, Illinois; his grandchildren, Zackary, Christian, Gavin Ozier, Addison, Harper Mast, Jack and Jude Finney; his siblings, Stan Hoelscher (Pam) of Mattoon, Shirley Ballinger (Bill) of Mattoon, Susie Monroe of Neoga and Sara Stepp of Neoga, Illinois; his friend Eileen Doedtman of Effingham, Illinois; and his mother-in-law Marilyn Mayhall of Neoga, Illinois..
