She is survived by: her husband Robert Burgess of Neoga, Illinois; her grandchildren, Heather Brady of Neoga, Blake Brady of Chicago and Allyson Plummer (Eli) of Neoga, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Carter Cox, Jada, Ellie Plummer and Emmett Brady; her brother Richard Patterson (Kathy); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Patterson and Gary Freeland.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Inc. (520 Oak Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
