It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond William Morris of Neoga, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Marie Morris (Price); his wife Madonna Naidene Buser; his siblings, Clifford Morris, Art Morris, Marguerite Lepper, Ruth Edwards, Dorothy Hills and Betty Welch; and his brother-in-law Owen Buser.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Morris (Jeri) of Mattoon, IL and Lori Counts of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Clint Morris of Franklin, IN, Stephanie Sapp (Joe) of Mattoon, IL and Katie Good (Counts) of Charleston, IL; his siblings, Shirley Easton of Mattoon, IL, John "Mick" Morris of Mattoon, IL and Anthony Morris (Sharon) of Alton, IL; and his sister-in-law Joyce Buser of Mattoon, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
