Marilyn Louise Mayhall Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Louise Mayhall of Neoga, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Claybaugh and Lucille Claybaugh (Dodds); her husband James Mayhall; her grandson Alex Hoelscher; and her son-in-law Steve Hoelscher.
She is survived by: her children, James David Mayhall and Teri Hoelscher of Neoga; her granddaughters, Stephanie Finney (Shawn) of Neoga, Jennifer Mast (Clarence) of Neoga and Erica Ozier (Chris) of Sullivan, Illinois; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Jude Finney, Addison, Harper Mast, Zackary, Christian and Gavin Ozier.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Inc. (520 Oak Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Presbyterian Church (702 Locust Ave, Neoga, IL 62447).
Memorials are suggested to the family to be used to support the Steve Hoelscher Memorial Scholarship per Marilyn's wishes and can be sent in care of Teri Hoelscher 227 West 10th Street Neoga, Illinois 62447.
