It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia O'Dell (Neoga, Illinois), born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Swengel and Carol Swengel (Voris); her husband Joe O'Dell; her brother Robert Swengel; and her granddaughter Candis O'Dell.
She is survived by: her sons, William O'Dell (Lisa) of Neoga and Tim O'Dell (Carol) of Neoga; her grandchildren, John O'Dell (Shawna) of Toledo, Wayne O'Dell (Darlene) of Toledo, Susan Hartman (Josh) of Windsor, Pat O'Dell (Katie) of Windsor, Andrea Schweska (Cully) of Mahomet, Eric O'Dell (Heather) of Neoga, Ross O'Dell (Chrissy) of Bethany and Katy Oakley (Ben) of Charleston; and her siblings-in-law, David O'Dell (Judy) of Neoga and Judy E. O'Dell. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
