He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta "Rett" Meek (Ballinger); his parents, J. Ernest Meek and E. Frances Meek (Monaghan); and his siblings, Rita Cyr, James Meek, Frances Mary Meek and Teddy Meek.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Meek (Marlene) of Neoga, Ron Meek (Beverly) of Bonnie and Carla Doll (Jerry) of Trowbridge; his grandchildren, Beth Craig of Neoga, Bill Meek (Teri) of Lewisburg, Heather Henderson (Devin) of Aldie, Kendel Durbin (Kyle) of Glen Carbon, Bailey Barretto (Mick) of Cary, Erica Williamson (Jason) of Tuscola and Jerod Doll (Hannah) of Neoga, Illinois.; and his great grandchildren, Laila Henderson, Aubrey Williamson, Gabrielle Craig, Kyleigh Williamson, Weston Meek, Owen Henderson, Caleb Meek, Josephine Craig, Chloe Henderson, Genevieve Meek and Carter Meek-Craig.
