She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Peter and Clara Margaret Behl (Quinn); her husband Edward Hanfland; her son Scott Hanfland; her foster daughter Sue Hall; and her brother Richard "Dick" Behl.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hanfland (Akira) of Effingham, Lisa Hoedebecke (Scott) of Sigel, Missy Baker (Jeff) of Trowbridge and Nicki Holt (Rob) of Neoga, Illinois; her siblings, Robert Behl of Trowbridge, John Behl (Candy) of St. Louis, Missouri and Ruth Knierim (Bill) of Lerna, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Mary Behl of Effingham, Illinois.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
