He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jansen of Neoga, Illinois; his sons, Steven Jansen (Ellen) of Montrose, Andrew Jansen (Lisa) of Neoga, Larry Jansen (Candy) of Effingham and Matthew Jansen (Leslie) of Dieterich; his grandchildren, Jeremy Jansen, Kendra Tegeler (Dustin), Jamie Burton (John), Kelly Arrotti (John), Lee, Eric Jansen, Kristen Snyder (Aaron), Collin, Cody Jansen, Erin Connelly, Cole, Katelyn and Lilly Jansen; and his siblings, Mary Lou Gier, Renee Flach, Alan Jansen, Kurt Jansen, June Grunloh, Kent Jansen, Mike Jansen, Roy Jansen, Randy Jansen and Karl Jansen.

Family requests memorials be made to the St. Michael School in Sigel, Illinois.
