It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Phillips (Neoga, Illinois), who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cooper and Ella Cooper (Hatten); her husband Lawrence Phillips; her son Lawrence Eugene; her siblings, Lois Masey, Leslie Cooper, Donald Cooper, Jesse Cooper and Ivan Cooper; and her daughters-in-law, Patty and Penny.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Press" Phillips of Neoga, James Phillips (Shari Hall) of Mason, Illinois, Louella Drum (Steve) of Neoga, Jane Amacher (Charles) of Watson and Marie Werner (Mike) of Smyrna, Georgia; her brother Lowell Cooper (Alice) of Philo, Illinois; and her daughter-in-law Paula Phillips of Mahomet, Illinois. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
