It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Sanderson of Neoga, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Sanderson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A. White and Edith P. White (White); her son Jesse Sanderson, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Scott Claybaugh and Rex Sims; and her siblings, Bert White, Stanley White, Dorothy Beals, Eleanor Dick, Norma Clinton, Phyllis Hennon, Kay Bueker and Joyce Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Claybaugh of Neoga, Janet Sanderson of Charleston and Bill Sanderson of Neoga, Illinois; her grandchildren, Benji Sanderson, Shawn Claybaugh (Jennifer), Nikki Jewell (Mark), Lacie Wellbaum (Shaun), Vanessa Banning (Shea), Carrie McKimmy (Gage), Morgan Benevides (Nando), Tori Overton (Graham) and Ally Sanderson; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Dakota, Jade, Leah, Anna, Sophia, Shelby, Easton, Warren, McKenzie, Kennedy, Murphy, Knox, Jenna, Kaitlyn and Austin; and her siblings, Jerry White (Mary), George White (Toni), Larry White, Terry White (Deb) and Pearl Phipps (Tom). She is also survived by three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home, Inc. (520 Oak Ave, Neoga, IL 62447). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
