It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Hoene (Neoga, Illinois), born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dan E. Hoene; his grandparents, Norbert, Alice Hoene and Vincent Weishaar; and his stepgrandfather Bud Thomas.
He is survived by: his mother Janet Thomas (Weishaar); his stepfather Doug Thomas of Mattoon, Illinois; his siblings, Scott Hoene (Sarah) of Neoga, Illinois and Becky Gajewski (Mick) of Ashley, Illinois; his grandmother Marian Weishaar of Teutopolis, Illinois; his stepgrandmother Connie Thomas of Treasure Island, Florida; his stepbrother A. J. Thomas of Charleston, Illinois; and his nephews, Daniel and Simon Hoene. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins.
