She is survived by: her husband Nelson; her children, Sarah Wilson, Sophia Hall (Corey), Farrah Crespo (Jamie), Nadia Wilson, Mariam "Mimi" Krapek (Christopher) and Adored; her grandchildren, Maria "Maya" Abraham, Isabelle Crespo, Michael Crespo, Angelina Abraham and Iman Wilson; and her nieces, Pamela Leeming (Tim) and Anita Michael.
During visiting hours, it is still recommended to follow the current State of Illinois Guidelines, and guests should continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, where Irene found community and strength in.
