He was predeceased by: his parents, Beach Barton and Neva Killebrew Barton; his wife Blanche Harpole; and his siblings, Finis Barton, Dallas Barton, Lovene DeGuire and Melva Rea Melton.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Barton (Carol) of Clinton, IL, Vickie Morley (Kevin) of Florissant, MO and Lee Alan Barton (Missy) of Salisbury, MO.; his grandchildren, Brad Barton (Paula), Greg Barton (Abbi), Matt Barton (Katie), Christina Jones (Jay), Kristin Blum (Joey), Merisa Meador (Matt) and Michelle Morley; and his great grandchildren, Kylie Barton, Mya Barton, Jax Barton, Reese Barton, Quinten Meador, Aubrey Barton, Korben Meador, Robbie Blum and Jabari Jones, II.
