We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023, at the age of 85, Genelle Bishop Royer of Nauvoo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Bishop and Vanden Bishop (Hale); her husband William Royer; and her stepchildren, Dwight Royer and Judy Clossey.
She is survived by: her brother Stephen Bishop (Annette) of Choctaw, OK; her stepson Jim Royer (Jan) of Springfield, IL; her nieces and nephews, Amber Austin (Steven) and Nathanael Bishop; her friends, Susan Graham (Bill) of Glenarm, IL, Tara Whitnah of Keokuk, IA and Vicki Ludolph of Nauvoo, IL; her caregiver Fran Gordon of Colchester, IL; and also, Annabelle, James, Marybeth, Emma, Alex, Charlie and Lucy.
Memorials may be made out to the Nauvoo Fire Protection District.
