She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Baker and Dorothy Baker (Johnston); her husband Edward Lewis Horton; and her brother Damian Baker. She is survived by: her children, Martha Frank of Des Moines, Iowa, Carol Horton of Des Moines, Iowa, Philip Horton of Salida, Colorado, James Horton (Lori) of McKinney, Texas, Paul Horton (Tara) of Anchorage, Alaska, Matthew Horton (Angela) of Muscatine, Iowa and Sarah Miller (David) of North Liberty; her grandchildren, Colleen Frank, Shay Altshue, Zerron Horton, Christopher Frank, Karl Frank, Kevin Frank, Kathryn Frank, Lexis Miller, Beau Miller, Brooklyn Horton, James Horton, Dallas Miller, Joseph Horton and Grace Horton; and her great grandchild Scott Frank. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
