With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Porter Green of Nashville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, P. E. "Jack" Green and Marian Green (Hyrup) of Nashville, IL.; and his cousin Thomas Chapman. He is survived by: his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law John Roeckeman of Carmel, IN; his niece Jill (Chris Duck) of Carmel, IN; his nephew Steve Roeckeman of Austin, TX; his great-nieces, Hannah and Marian Duck; and his cousins, Clare Chapman of Louisville, CO, Mary Anne Caponegro of O'Fallon, IL, Lara Gahafer, Mary Philips of Lexington, KY and Jayne Waugh of Myrtle Beach, SC..
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church or the Grace Church Food Pantry and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
