She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Newsome and Wilma Newsome (Stout); her husband Lincoln Bird; her daughter Eugenia Newton; her grandson Travis Bonner; her great grandchild Beau Heggemeier; and her sister Elizabeth Sheff.
She is survived by: her daughter Lana Luitjohn (Jim) of Alma; her son-in-law James Bonner of Laclede; her grandchildren, Jim Bonner of Texico, Scott Bonner (Mary Jan) of Laclede, Buffy Bonner of Hoyleton, Chastity Smolley (Greg) of Woodlawn, Curtis Newton of Du Quoin, Daniel Newton of Du Quoin and Richard Davidson of Du Quoin; and her great grandchildren, Brian Heggemeier, Jr., Brandice Heggemeier, Chelsea Wilson, David Wilson, Quinton Bonner, Sarah Loftin, Shyanne Davidson and D. J. Davidson. She is also survived by fifteen great great grandchildren.
In leiu of flowers, friends may make memorials to Searby Funeral Home to help with the funeral cost and will be accepted at the funeral home.
