With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Schwartzkopf of Nashville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Ryterski and Isabella Ryterski; and her husband James W. Schwartzkopf, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James Schwartzkopf (Cindy) of Nashville, IL, Raymond Schwartzkopf (Pamala) of Nashville, IL, Cory Schwartzkopf (Susan) of Nashville, IL and Shirley Schwartzkopf Lueker (Tom) of Mt. Sterling, KY; her sister Joan Liszewski of Nashville, IL; her great grandchildren, James Schwartzkopf (Billie) of Collinsville, IL and Jennifer Szabelski of Nashville; her children, Emily Schwartzkopf of Broken Arrow, OK, Jakob Szabelski of Ashley, IL, Charlie Szabelski of Nashville, IL, Kristie Karch (Barry) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Katie Kellerman (Adam); her grandchildren, Grace, Ellie of Chicago, IL and Nicholas Schwartzkopf; her sons, Nolan, Kyler Lueker Rich of Carterville, IL and T. J. Lueker (Erin); and her grandchildren, James and Molly of Mt. Sterling, KY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating.
