He was predeceased by: his father Charles; and his brother Craig Mellein. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Sibert Koepke, Sr.; his children, Aviston, Steven P. Koepke, Jr. (Lauren) of Addieville and Devin Koepke of Nashville; his grandchildren, Finnley and Crew Koepke; and his siblings, Charles Koepke of Sparta, Mike Koepke of Okawville, Patrick Koepke of Addieville, Loring Mellein of New Baden, Jim Laughlin of Okawville, Christine Dunaway of Smithton and Kim Baumgartner of Lebanon.
