He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Howard and Dorothy Marion Jones (Zacheis). He is survived by: his wife Judith Henderson Jones of Richview, IL; his children, Susan Dorothy Jones (Kevin R. Reitz) of St. Paul, MN, Edwin W. Jones (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, OH and James R. Jones of Wallingford, PA; his grandson Phil R. Reitz-Jones; and his siblings, Claude L. Jones (Laurie) of Brentwood, CA and Jody E. Hill (Jimmie T.) of Urbana, IL.
Should friends desire, and in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Washington County Food Pantry of Irvington; the Washington County Partners for Pets (Nashville); and the Friends of the Library (Nashville) which will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home of Nashville (in charge of the arrangements) The best memorial to Phil will be actively serving the community he loved so much.
