He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Monroe and Naomi Valeree Parker Stokes; and his brother Art. He is survived by: his children, Milton D. Stokes, Jr. (Jill) of Murphysboro, Dianna L. Reed of Belleville and Charlena Battles (Luke) of Bethalto. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
