She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin C. Ruroede and Dora Ruroede (Hartmann); her husband Elmer Kingsten; and her siblings, Ernest Ruroede, Clarence Ruroede, Edward Ruroede and Dorothy Seemann.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Knope of Nashville, IL; and her goddaughters, Brenda Ruroede, Dinah Kaempfe and Renee Beare. She is also survived by several nieces; and one nephew.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
