It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Steinkamp (Nashville, Illinois), who passed away on January 23, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Polczynski and Catherine Polczynski; her spouse Ordel Steinkamp; her children, Mary Ann Degenhardt (Joe) of Oakdale, Arnold Steinkamp (Pat) of Bartelso, IL, Helen Meyer of Collinsville, IL, Robert Steinkamp (Diana) of Oakdale and Lisa Renken of Collinsville; her siblings, Don Polczynski (Helen) of Nashville and Betty Polczynski of Helena, MT; her grandchildren, Joe Degenhardt Jr (Casey Sharp), Jenn Tritschler (Jason), Crystal Degenhardt (Mike MacInnis), Mary Degenhardt (Craig Sroka), Nathan Steinkamp (Tahnee), Jonathan Steinkamp (Brianne), Zack Steinkamp, Michael Meyer, Kerri Dischbein (Brandon) and Christopher Steinkamp; her great grandchildren, Reagan Tritschler, Quintin Stanley, Garrett Steinkamp, Emmett Steinkamp and Colton Dischbein; and her brother Sylvester Polczynski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Irvington Food Pantry or to the St. Peter United Church of Christ and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
