He is survived by: his children, Erica Richards (Kevin Hiatt) of Troy and Dustin Richards (Emily) of Granite City; his grandchildren, Dustin Richards Jr., Samantha Johns and Sophia Johns; and his siblings, Gary Richards (Ruthann) of Nashville and Gail Schamel (Kurt) of St. Louis. He is also survived by several nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
