He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Mattingly and Arlene Danielson Mattingly; and his brother Thomas Mattingly. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Stephens Mattingly; his daughter Kelly Lynn Mattingly of Shelbyville, TN; his friend Jimmy; his brother Terrance Mattingly (Marilynn) of Clermont, FL.; his niece Kristina Jett of Texas; his brothers-in-law, Jerry (Leigh), Curtis (Jenny) and Billy; and also, Jimmy Wayne Griggs of Nashville, TN, Natalie Clark (Matt) of Illinois, Michael Mattingly of Illinois, Aunt, Godmother, Florence Gray (Dick), Bernie Danielson (Ginny) of Illinois and Marie Danielson (late Merlin) of Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
