It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Thompson (Nashville, Illinois), who passed away on September 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dugald Thompson and Mary Peters Thompson; his sister Margaret Grove; his son-in-law Dale Maynard; and his brother Robert Botka.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta Green Thompson; his children, Jerry Lee Thompson (Julie), Christine Maynard and Elizabeth Longenecker (Marvin); his grandchildren, Dakota Longenecker (Melissa), Heyleigh Maynard, Molly Thompson and Willow Thompson; his great grandchild Jordan Longenecker; his sister Evonda Botka; his cousins, Clyde Thompson and Karen; his granddaughter Maia Hafley; and also, Lucas Durnil of Wright City, Missouri, Elyse Durnil of Wright City, Missouri and Mason Taylor of Wright City, Missouri.
