He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Schmidt and Helen Schmidt (Hodapp); his wife Kay Kellerman of Bruno's Catholic Church; and his sister Mary Cotter. He is survived by: his sister Bernice Wilkens; his children, David, Danny (Tina), Don (Lori), Janet Seyler (Kevin) and Cindy Jaworski (Steve); his grandchildren, Christie Schmidt, Kayla Hund, Kelsey Schuetz, Michelle Beatty, Emily Howell and Jake Schmidt; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Paisley, Raelynn, Lavinia, Ayla, Eddison and Claire. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
