It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Queen (Nashville, Illinois), born in Perry, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hottes and Anna Hottes (Weil); her husband Earl Queen; her brother Harvey Hottes; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Hottes and Ernest Queen.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Gonzales of Nashville, IL, Jack Queen (Debra) of DuQuoin, IL and Jane Schleifer (Jeff) of Noblesville, IN; her grandchildren, Tim Groff (Nikki), Shawn Groff, Abijah Queen (Holly), Andy Schleifer and Sara Schleifer; her great grandchildren, Bella Womack, Ayca Groff, Kira Groff, Chloe Halterman, Israel Queen, Isaac Queen and Christian Queen; and her brothers, Louis Hottes (Pam) and Scott Hottes (Leah). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, Nashville, IL or the Baptist Children's Home, Carmi, IL.
