He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hufker and Louise Hufker; his close friend Veryla Carver; and his former wife Sharon Hufker. He is survived by: his children, Julie Hufker-Yelton of Belleville, John Hufker Jr. (Cindy) of Venedy, Matthew Hufker (Jennifer) of Covington, IL and Nate Hufker (Lisa) of Shiloh, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle, Cameron, Elizabeth Hufker, Tyler Maxey, Dominick Hufker, Walker Lewis-Hummert, Addison, Alayna and Alivia Hufker; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Skylar Hufker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to Shriner's Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
