He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hackstadt and Mildred Hackstadt; and his brother-in-law Tobin Brown. He is survived by: his wife Amy Hackstadt of Nashville; his children, Amber Hackstadt (Ian) of Nashville, TN, Annette Banks (Isaac) of Kirkwood, MO, Joel Hackstadt of St. Peters, MO and Stephanie Waid (Rob) of Murray, KY; his brothers, Donald Hackstadt of Jonesburg, MO and Steven Hackstadt (Kathran) of Farmington, NM; his parents-in-law, Ronnie and Judith Brown of Nashville; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Brown (Shelly) of Shiloh, IL, Matt Brown (Michelle) of Longmont, CO and Holly Brown of Okawville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
