He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Witte and Mildred Witte; his brother James Witte; and his father-in-law Charles Kemnetz. He is survived by: his wife Terri Witte of Nashville, IL; his children, Michael Witte (Jill) of Nashville, Douglas Witte of St. Louis, MO and Angela Kohlbrecher (Steve) of Aviston, IL; his grandchildren, Chandler, Bennet, Ava Witte and Nolan Kohlbrecher; his brother Allen Witte of Nashville; his sister-in-law Eunice Witte of Nashville; and his mother-in-law Esther Kemnetz of Nashville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the ALS Association or the St. John's Lutheran Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
