She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Fred Nelson and Mariana Nelson (Aschenbrenner); her brother Robert Charles Nelson; her niece Mary Ann Nelson; her son-in-law Michael Samuelson; her daughters, Anna (Jeffrey Tutman) and Kristin (Richard Atkinson); her spouse Tabitha Benson (Bachmann); her daughters, Alexandra Koch (Dustin), Brontë Hertzing (David) and Anastasia Benson (Theon Parseghian); and her great grandchildren, Tripp, Watts, Søren, Otto and Gus.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
