It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta O'Dell McBroom (Nashville, Illinois), born in New Douglas, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Boles and Lottie Boles (Forbes); her spouse Floyd O'Dell; her children, Kenneth O'Dell, Betty Bentley and Shirley O'Dell; and her siblings, Kenneth Boles, Lois Lappie and Nettie Rosenthal.
She is survived by: her children, Danny O'Dell (Christine) of Greenville, IL, Terry O'Dell (Debra) of Donnellson, Lori Littrell (Bob) of Belleville, IL, Angela Palmer (Chuck) of Du Quoin, IL and Sandra Goehlich (Michael) of Carlinville, IL. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
