She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Donovan Speer and Stella Gertrude; her husband Thomas E. Vandel; and her brother Wayne Speer. She is survived by: her brother Larry Speer; her children, Stephen Vandel (Annette), Victoria Subject (David) and Julie Renkel; her grandchildren, Suzanne Welsh (Jeffrey), Michelle Tucker (Jaratio), Bethany Adamek (Jeffrey), Rachel Fundaburg, Carolyn Subject, Kathryn Subject (Mike Lynch) and Stacey Subject; and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Timothy, Sarah, Jalen, Jacob, Leah, Jacsen, Ronan and Charlie.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society or ASPCA because of her love for animals.
