It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Pavels of Naperville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Edmund Pavels; her sons, Erik Pavels (Sherry) and Paul Pavels (Kristine) of Batavia, IL; her grandchild River Pavels; her sister Kay Herrmann (late George) of Clarendon Hills, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Christian Pavels and Alexandra Pavels.
