He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Bastert; his children, Jason, Jeremy and May; his grandchildren, Sean and Jenna; and his siblings, Linda Hess, Bob Bastert, Carol Krekeler (Joe) and Dan Bastert (Nancy).
