He was predeceased by: his wife Florence; his parents, John N. Lichter and Elizabeth Lichter; his brothers, Rich Lichter (late Dorothy) of Naperville and Irving J. Lichter (late Grace); and his brother-in-law Allen Hischer (late Jeanette).
He is survived by: his children, John Lichter (Janice) of Anoka, MN, Cheryl Martzan (Kent) of Oswego, IL, Dawn Lichter (Stephan Crabtree) of Portland, OR and Holly Hildenbrand (David) of North Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, John Erich Lichter, Steven Lichter (Alice), Scott Lichter (Mandy), Kristen Desler (Daniel), Paul Crabtree, Lindsey Syes (Ernest), Haley Beans (Adam) and Jacob Hildenbrand (Rebecca); and his great grandchildren, Oscar, Hazel, Johnny, Billy Lichter, Caden, Piper Lichter, Oliver, Mae Desler and David Beans.
