With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Haemmerle of Naperville, Illinois, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haemmerle and Margaret Mary Haemmerle; and his father-in-law Stanley. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Haemmerle; his children, Steven Haemmerle (JoAnn) of Downers Grove, IL, Linda Marth (Timothy) of New Albany, OH, Lisa Miles (Todd) of Grand Rapids, MI and Mike Haemmerle (Cathy) of Carroll, OH; his grandchildren, Matt Haemmerle (Beth), Katie Haemmerle, Robert Haemmerle (Nadia), Tim Haemmerle, Holly Davidson (Matt), John Marth (Ashley), Kevin Marth, Peter Marth, Jim Miles, Maggie Miles, Andy Miles (Casey), Elizabeth Miles, Joe Miles, Lucy Miles, Michael Haemmerle, Mary Haemmerle, John Haemmerle, AnnMarie Haemmerle and Molly Haemmerle; his great grandchildren, Lucy Frances Haemmerle, Annie Marcella Marth and Maddox James Davidson; his mother-in-law Margaret Schrichte; his siblings, Mary Leyes (Ed) and Rev. Gerald Haemmerle; and his sibling-in-law Peg Hoban (late Jack).
Current health guidelines state that no more than 50 individuals at a time may pay their respects to the family, and guests are required to wear masks and follow social distancing procedures.
